  Top-down Governmental Systems benefit the people at the top.
  Bottom-up Governmental Systems benefit everyone, because everyone has an equal “voice,” not just the “special interests.”
  Decisions made in Bottom-up Governmental Systems start in each community, are test marketed and then are shared with the rest of the country.
  Todays Communication Technology allows America to have and benefit from a ground-up governmental system.

  This is true Dave, but our “top-down” government will not allow us to have a voice. It has been so polluted with kickbacks and pandering that “We the people” are not served. Remember when there was a middle-class, and opportunities to own our own business and attain the American dream. Now monopolies have taken over so the small businessman is pushed aside, and can not compete against the larger companies. Until people realize that the only way to turn things around is to speak up, vote, and not stand for it anymore it will not change.

  You are absolutely correct. But now we have communication technology that we have never had before. It allows us to divide up America into pieces so that we can all have a voice and start fixing these problems, starting in our communities. This technology will allow “we the people” to have a voice as to what we want and don`t want our Federal and State government to be involved in. We need a plan to make this all work. They are not going to provide this plan at the top. It has to come from the people and be for the people. This book “300 Million Minds” describes the plan in detail. Hope you like it and get involved starting right in your own community…

  What a thirst quencher this will be! Many of us have ideas, solutions, and most of all, dissent for what has been taking place in government but we have been disenfranchised! Our legislative rep once told me at a town hall meeting, “I represent those who support me.” paraphrased but that brazen. Unfortunately, they get worse and more blatantly dismissive of those they “represent” as you go higher up the political food chain. One of the most important things we need to be doing regularly, is attending our County Council meetings, and the more attending, the better. They can’t continue with such as the horrific commitment to Agenda 21 if we are there to stop them, in person. Just my thoughts.

    I agree with you Colleen, it all has to start at the grass roots. I have some friends who are active in Wisconsin in recall elections. They seem to understand the value of working together. I will pass this site, and book, along to them.

    I totally agree about starting by attending town or township meetings, as well as school board meetings, to see exactly how things are working where you have the most interest. I used to own a local newspaper, and what I learned from just attending the meetings was awesome! I became quite popular when I reported exactly what was going on in my communities, and much feared – the power of the press is amazing!

    Send letters to the editor in your local newspaper, that usually gets a response – although newspapers are dying out, the older generation still reads them. The younger generation reads Facebook and Twitter, and the professionals use LinkdIn most often.

    Dave is right, the technology today allows us to cover a larger field more quickly, and we need to take advantage of it. This election looks as if many minorities will be disenfranchised, which will give the advantage to the Republicans. For a party that believes in less governmental control they don’t seem to mind party or religious value control (and I am a registered Republican). If we don’t start now it will get worse at election time.

  Look how they tried to silence the grassroots we are growing and they will try everything they can do make us go away and we are growing as I type this post
