RAISING THE PEOPLE’S VOICE
When taxes are forced upon the public without elected officials asking the public for their input, isn’t that TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION? The problem is that there has never been a way to ask everyone how they feel about taxes and other issues—until now. The area group, for “One Voice Now”, has figured out a user-friendly way to make “asking the public” a tangible reality.
1) YOU THE PEOPLE raise the issues to make your community better.
2) YOU THE PEOPLE watch debates on those issues on TV.
3) YOU THE PEOPLE vote on those issues with any touch tone phone
(the calls will be received by a computer to safeguard against one person voting twice).
Fixing America starts locally. The fix isn’t in Washington, Indianapolis, Lansing, or any other state capitol. The people in each locality, communicating and working together, provide the only way to build a bright future for our children and theirs.
Here’s a more detailed description of how the issues will be raised, debated, and voted on. The process is as follows:
We need 2 Technological Components in each community…
A “LOCAL ISSUES TELEVISION AND RADIO STATION” to send the information out to the community.
A “COMMUNITY COMPUTER” to receive the calls (votes) from any touchtone phone. The computer will verify the voter, ask what issue number they want to vote on, count the vote and prevent multiple voting. Issues of, by and for the people…
1) After the computer system is in place and people start receiving their voter I.D. number, the computer will pick ten people every week at random. The reason for this is we need a filtering system for our issues. We do not want to watch or debate issues that do not have merit. The ten people picked will be replaced every week for the same reason that the judicial system replaces a jury after every issue—to lower the chance of influence and bribery affecting the system. This will give people an opportunity they would never have had under the former arrangement.
2) When the people of the community have ideas that they believe will make things better, they can present them to the ten members chosen through this random filtering system. If the majority of the ten believe that the idea in question should be considered by the community at large, the presenter goes to the next step.
3) The next step is videotaping the presenter and his/her issue, after which the issue is presented over an area TV station for a period of ten days. There will be two phone numbers shown on the video presentation. One number people can call and be part of a “lobbying group” for the issue and the other number they can call to lobby against the issue. When they call either one of those numbers, information will be given as to where and when these two lobbying groups will come together and prepare.
4) Thirty days later, there will be a debate by these two lobbying groups. The debate will be videotaped and replayed over the television station for ten more days. A new phone number will be provided on the video broadcast – a local number registered voters can call. Their calls will go into the computer.
5) When calling to vote, the computer will ask them to press 1 for English and 2 for Spanish. The next prompt will ask the voter to press 1 if they are registered and 2 if they are not registered. Those pressing 2 will be informed on how to get registered. The next prompt will ask for their personal ID number and another fact to verify the voter’s identity. Then the caller will be asked to enter the number of the issue they wish to vote on. Finally, the caller will press 1 for “yes” and 2 for “no.” Their vote will be counted and they will be prevented from voting more than once.
6) Every time the debate is replayed, there will be an updated tally of the “yes” and “no” votes. At the end of the ten days, not only will the people in the community understand the issue in its entirety, but the outcome will come from the people.
7) The resulting information will be given to our elected officials so they can make much more educated and informed decisions. Those officials who do not vote with the people will be held accountable, since the people will be updated on who voted for or against a given issue. At regular election time, the people can then make a much more informed decision as to which candidates best serve the well–informed populace.*
The new system will empower our local officials to better serve the people, and empower the citizenry to have more input in, and better knowledge of, local government and which way their elected officials vote on key issues. It will empower our local officials to pass laws we want passed (and even take laws off the books that no longer are needed). We could finally get busy fixing our communities and stop waiting for politicians to try and do it with little in the way of broad, meaningful public input. This is the communication tool we have been waiting for to bring our community into the 21st century. We can use our voice and our knowledge to reinvent our heathcare system, our failing educational system, our crumbling roads and our troubled penal, tax, judicial, and economic systems, etc.
This is a 21st Century System that is truly of the people, by the people and finally, for the people…This can be done, but it is going to take everyone standing up together for a “Voice.”

In order for this to work, we need to “remap America.”
Politicians have been “gerrymandering” or “remapping America” for ever. It has been used by the politicians to benefit the politicians.
The Postal Service has remapped America with zipp codes to benefit the Postal Service.
The Phone Companies have remapped America with area codes to benefit the communication system.
The America People can now build a 21st Century governmental system by remapping America as well. America can now be remapped into a “honeycomb.”
Each community will now be a “hexagon” and the nucleus of each community will be a local issues television and radio station to send ideas out to the community, from citizens in the community, to fix education, healtchcare, the environment, taxation, etc.
Citizens can vote on interested issues with any touchtone phone. Their calls (votes) will go into a community computer, verify the voter, count the vote and prevent multiple voting.
A 21st Century governmental system where issues are raised, debated and voted on, of, by and for the people.
The plan is outlined in the book “300 Million Minds Changing America Piece by Peace” available on this website…
IF, YOU ARE REALLY SICK OF CORRUPT POLITICS IN AMERICA TODAY?
Why don`t we just let “WE THE PEOPLE” vote directly on the issues that effect our lives?
There is a way! PLEASE…Just watch and share this video…If we fail to plan we plan to fail… Here is the PLAN!

Intriguing idea! Thank you for sharing it. What advantages have you identified over the current “system” other than having hard data to show our elected representatives? Have you identified any potential roadblocks and how to overcome them, such as how do you fund your system? Thanks!
The hard data is the fact that the decision making system that we presently have has a 90% unfavorable rating from the citizens and they have left this country in shambles. Our only alternative is “we the people.” Tapping into those braincells that have been left voiceless on the sidelines. This new system will interconnect those braincells very similar to way a human or any other brain works. But, this cannot be done from the top-down. Top-down governmental systems feed themselves and their cronies. This new system will be a ground-up system benefiting everyone because everyone will be on a level playing field. Everyones voice will be equal, making everyone equal.
This new system is less expensive as the “once a year voting for the lesser of the evils” system that our communities are presently funding…No more need to pay for those silly voting places when anyone can now vote from anywhere with any touchtone phone. The huge difference is for less money than cities are presently paying, we can exercise our voice, our freedom of speech, every day that we want to, not just once a year voting for some politicians to do our thinking for us. This is the “empowerment” that the people need to resolve their issues and this system can be used in other countries so that we can stop the fighting and start the fixing.. Building a better America from the ground-up…
While this is a wonderful idea with lots of merit, I have issues with it. This creates a democracy, which we are not. We were never intended to be a democracy. We are a constitutional republic that is supposed to be following the rule of law. As someone wisely pointed out, democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what’s for dinner. The constitution as rule of law prevents 51% of the people from opposing the rights and free will of 49% of the people. People falsely say and believe America is a democracy. We would never have seen individual liberty if this were the case. A group of people with one belief would never be free to be what they choose as long as there were more people with an opposing belief. What needs to happen is our politicians being held to their oaths to uphold and enforce the constitution. If that were done, then all this other stuff you propose would be completely unnecessary. Your idea is good, but takes the wrong approach to the problem. It also undermines the constitution. Keep trying, but you get no support from me on this one.
Scott
If you take the time to look at the entire plan you will find that this brings our Representative Democracy into the 21st Century. Our Founding Fathers lived in an entirely different world than we do. At that time there were approximately 500,000 people in America. Today there are 600 times that many (300 million) Our Founding Fathers were inventors and if they lived today and they were asked to build a new decision making system for America, there is no way that they would not take advantage of the miraculous technology that we now have.
You are right, they did not believe in the concept of Democracy, although they had never seen one up and running. The term “mob rule” that they used back then referred to something different than what it would mean today. In the 21st Century “mob rule” refers to “organized crime.” That is the mob rule that we have today. Whenever you allow a small group of people to handle the money and the laws for the masses, they will always make decisions to benefit themselves and their cronies, just like organized crime does today. That is exactly what we have on the 3 levels of our government.
We can try a “dictator” but that did not turn out very well for Nazi Germany. We can try a “Republic” but that hasn`t turned out very well for almost all countries around the world, or we can try a “Representative Democracy” which is what this book is explaining.
Scott, this country is broke and broken. If you want to try to figure out what was in the minds of our Founding Fathers, good luck. I am more concerned about what is in the minds of the American People. This new system allows us to find out…
One last thing Scott. This does not undermine the Constitution. This allows the Constitution to stay on track and disallows the Federal Government from overstepping its bounds. This allows “the people” in each community to decide what role they want the Federal Government to play in their lives. We have never been able to be asked. This system and technology allows us to be asked and when we are asked, we the people will tell the Federal Government that we want these issues resolved by the people in our communities and not 535 greedy politicians in Washington that are feeding themselves and their political cronies…In the past, the politicians have been organized and we the people haven`t. This plan peacefully organizes “We the People.”
Excellent Idea! I never Got the all accumulated data in a single time. It’s very helpful for me to understand the election rules and regulation of America. The basic ideas were good. Further, Local issues can be send via Television & Radio Stations. I personally think that every single decision and procedures should known to every citizen of the country. Finally, we can raise a voice that, everything must be for the people issue. Thanks Scott.
Great idea! I just thinking about this idea. I appreciate these basic idea’s list. I’m really agree with “asking the public”. Thanks!!!
This is a great idea. especially if will also inform, educate and cause people to participate at the county level.
I love this idea. To be a “Devils Advocate” their are a couple of issues that could cause problems. Not everyone has a telephone or access to a phone, but they can get to polling places. Who would be the Watchdog against computer hackers or other companies that have the money to corrupt the computer system.
I agree this is a wonderful idea, it would give the people a real say in how our government is run and would not allow corporations to act like people.
Thanks Christene
With this plan you can use someone elses television or touch tone phone to participate. Also, we will use the same technology the banks and credit card companies are using to capture and protect your money but we will be using that technology to capture your VOICE..If you read the entire system you will find that unlike our present system that is easy to bribe 9 people on a council or 535 in Washington or 150 in state capitals, it is much more difficult to bribe 250,000 people..It is time for the last to be first and the first to be last..thanks, Dave
